Brick by Brick, My Wall

Do you ever question who you are? Do you think that you are set, that your identity is fixed? Do you sometimes wonder how different your life could be if you were different? People act in accordance to who they think they are at their core. What if how we build ourselves, so that it becomes our identity and our personality, is in fact a process that is built brick by brick by our thoughts. These thoughts, beliefs of who we think we are or how the world is, can be an obstacle to our seeing the truth. Every single thought doesn’t have to stick around unless we attach to it, focus our attention on it and make it serious. The deeper we think about it the more true that thought appears to us. When we attach meaning to a thought, it becomes a brick, and this prevents the flow of energy, inspiration, potential and love to move through us. These walls can lead to feelings of frustration, lack, disappointment, feelings of stuckness.

Whichever path you pick, say lack or abundance, you’re making up what you believe is who you are. But the biggest illusion is the illusion of self. Who we really are is not who we think we are. We are energy taking form, love taking form, truth taking form, purity taking form; call it anything as the words are irrelevant because IT does not change, only the form changes. Thoughts are form, but the power of Thought to form thoughts is formless. The formless doesn’t care about our problems, it only allows us the capacity to create them and therefore experience them however we want. It appears that we’ve created a nothing that looks like a something. If we want to change, it isn’t a question of whether you can do it, but if you will do it. Decide what you want and make the decision to extract yourself from your self-created wall. When you can motivate yourself, it will be because it is more painful to stay than the pleasure you will experience from initiating change
